Title: Supplier Quality Engineer**Location:** **Plymouth MN****Duration: 6 months****Payrate: $31-38/hr.****RESPONSIBILITIES**+ This position is responsible for improve supplier quality through supplier improvement plans and execution of them, coaching and other supplier engineering activities+ Verification of effective supplier corrective actions+ Support quarterly site management review board and prepare data pertaining to material and supplier controls+ Support site audits+ Supplier related complaint investigations+ Article quality assessments (AQA)+ Assure timely resolution of Supplier quality and technical issues+ Coaching of suppliers through validations+ Process ownership for supplier quality metric+ Visit Suppliers related to quality and technical issues audits+ Assure timely resolution of Supplier quality and technical issues+ Provide input for supply plan within new product introduction process+ Develop and implement supplier process and system improvement plans+ Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics+ Article quality assessments (AQA)+ Coaching of suppliers through validations+ Process ownership for supplier quality metric+ Up to 25% travel requirement**Position Requirements** :+ Scientific University Degree (BS degree) required+ Experience/familiarity with regulated product quality system requirements, i.e. ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 14971, and other applicable standards+ Minimum of 1-4 years engineering work experience in a Process, Quality, or Supplier Quality function+ Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, project management, record keeping, and routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.+ Effective facilitation skills to lead discussions around root cause analysis, driving to consensus and resolution of identified non-conformances???
