YOUR ROLE

  • The Assistant Plant Controller will work with the Senior Plant Controller of Henkel's Bowling Green, Kentucky manufacturing facility, a 1.2M sq. ft. production plant generating nearly 65M cases of well-known consumer products, annually.
  • This role will act as a key member of the Plant's management team & broader Supply Chain Finance team charged with driving financial continuous improvement and productivity at the Plant.
  • Successful candidates will be self-motivated, well organized associates, with strong capabilities in detailed analysis work, and collaborating cross functionally.
  • Plant specific experience and overall interest in manufacturing processes and environment are attributes that will enable success in this role.
  • This role is an excellent career opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst of a mid-sized plant, looking to develop into a Plant Controller role.


YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with previous plant experience and product costing preferred
  • Strong understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data
  • Teamwork/Collaboration - Working effectively with those outside the formal line of authority to accomplish organization goals
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Domestic mobility preferred
