Job Description
A Shipping Clerkis responsible for completing the following duties:
- to check in all production parts, distribute them to the proper place, file sales orders, and package them for shipments
- Process incoming freight
- Use computer for necessary input/output information
- Get parts put away daily
- Use forklift to store and deliver parts
- Help with walk-in customers
- Assist in cycle counts
- Ensure all orders are shipped on time
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good communication skills and self-motivated
- Ability to operate shipping/receiving equipment including forklifts
- Organization
- Detail-oriented
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to work in a wide variety of weather conditions
- 5S Programs
- Keep the floor clean and free of steel and tools, sweeping when necessary
