Senior Project Manager

We need an experienced Project Manager/PMO Manager! Currently, this is a 100% remote position out of the Madison area. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing their own projects to successful completion, as well as a PM team, ensuring on time deliverables in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. We want a candidate who can manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. This position succeeds when it ensures that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. Your responsibilities:

- Cooperates and communicates with developers, technical team members, designers, and stakeholders

- Facilitates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are timely, focused and brief

- In partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

- Supplies detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

- Organizes and leads the sprint planning and grooming meetings and records ticket assignments

- Work in close collaboration with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

- Establishes schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

- Oversees project planning

- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience

-Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC

-General familiarity with Project Management Process Improvements

- Command of project management, as well as keeping team of PM's on track

- PMP Certification is preferred but not required

-Management experience, preferably over IT Projects or IT Project Managers

- Foundational knowledge in People Management

- PMO (project management office) experience required

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- Excellent oral and written communications skills

- Project management skills, strong operational abilities, and demonstrated leadership and supervisory qualifications

- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
