Minimum of 5 years of experience in the gas pipeline sector including project engineering and design or operating company experience

Industry experience within utilities, power, oil and gas or heavy industrial

Knowledge of gas codes and regulations, including 49 CFR Part 192, 49 CFR Part 195, 49 CFR Part 193,B31.8, B31.3, and API 1104

Ability to communicate with external clients and field personal

Plusses

Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain PE certification within one year

Design skills within AutoCAD

An employer is looking for a Process Engineer in the MN area. This Process Engineer will prepare detailed engineering of pipeline facilities including regulation and meter runs, pig launchers, interconnects, relief systems, measurement systems, compressor station piping systems, gas conditioning systems, gas processing systems, etc. They will also be participating in field/ site walks coordinate field investigation work for surveys, utility investigations, cathodic protection in support of the pipeline design effort and preparing project funding documents such as cost estimates, equipment bid summaries and authorization requests Along with all other requirements, this engineer will also be managing small to mid-size projects and teams up to $25MM in total installed cost.
