Overview:
MSA has an opportunity for a CAD Technician/Design-Drafter. Our bridge team is located primarily in our Madison and Baraboo offices, but the location of this position is flexible based upon experience. You will have the opportunity to focus primarily on bridge and structural drafting, as well as some road plan drafting for DOT projects. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. Responsibilities:
The work you will doUtilize AutoCAD C3D and MicroStation OpenRoads Designer to perform detailed drafting and design for bridges and other transportation projectsWork on a team to develop plan sets and ensure plan standards are being metPrioritize workflow and keep project schedulesWork with a mentor on CAD training and additional skillsManage a library of CAD design detailsStay current on latest CAD technology and trends

Qualifications:
What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related degree requiredExperience with AutoCAD C3D or MicroStation OpenRoads Designer required0-5 years of experience requiredPast DOT experience preferredAbility to work in a consulting environment in a team settingThis position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
