Job Description
Review orders to identify if commercial terms are consistent with Thermo's standard acceptable commercial
Terms (payment terms, freight terms, liability etc.) as outlined in SID's Terms & Conditions procedure.
Ensure pricing complies with GSA and other applicable price lists.
Ensure all completed orders are invoiced as applicable.
Understand and comply with process work instructions and ISO procedures when processing bids, quotes, orders and invoices.
Understand and comply with the requirements of the Export Management System. Understand noncompliance implications.
Comply with letter of credit and sight draft and credit card procedures
Effectively resolve customer issues in a timely manner. Ensure communication of resolution is clear.
Answer the automatic call distribution department routing number.
Provide customer phone support related to the order process.
Verify commission accrual for distributor orders.
Maintain customer order files are accurate and per current archival procedures.
Assist in maintaining customer master ship-to and bill-to addresses in the ERP system.
Assist with resolution of A/R collection issues.
Authorized to generate request for credit memo per manager or finance recommendations.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED with 3 to 5 years of experience in the support of business customers. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Associates degree in business for related area is preferable with 2 to 3 years of experience supporting business customers, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
