As a Lead Program Manager on our Energy and Sustainability team, you'll manage Renewable Energy program activities for Target Stores and Distribution Centers. Responsibilities include ownership of the existing Renewable Energy Asset portfolio, to include development of operational and maintenance activities, expense management, reporting, and insuring systems are performing per specifications. Additionally, identifying and assessing systems at end-of-life, and determining budget, scope, schedule and delivery of replacement systems as appropriate. Interfaces and leads cross-functional communication with external Vendors, Utilities, Stores, Engineering, Roofing, Store Design, Legal, and Property Management Field Team Members. Work closely with internal and external teams to move project work forward, resolve problems, and insure projects are delivered on time and on budget, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Use your talents and experience to define program goals and objectives, and develops tools, measurements, processes and procedures to track results against program deliverables. Work with internal and external business partners to define and develop Scopes of Work to best deliver against business needs and the reduction in Energy usage and expense. Develops and implements tools and reporting to effectively monitor and measure vendor performance and level of service. Continuously evaluates vendor's performance and costs and conduct annual vendor business reviews. Develops and controls processes to address vendor corrective action, as necessary. Manage related vendor relationships and contracts, and make decisions that align with Target's expense reduction, renewable energy, and greenhouse gas emission reduction objectives. About you

Bachelors Degree, BA/BS (MBA preferred)
Minimum 7 years business experience
Minimum 3 years experience in the Energy, Renewables, or Sustainability space
Demonstrated history of successfully managing external vendors
Cross-functional team leadership experience
Ability to manage projects, set timeliness and meet deadlines
Strong analytical, financial, reasoning, and organizational skills
Ability to develop recommendations to drive expense efficiencies
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Ability to maximize relationships - team player/inspires others/takes partners across all levels of the organization and with outside vendors
