Engineering Project Manager

We are looking to hire a Project Engineering Managerto work in our corporate headquarters located in Brooklyn Park, MN.If you are hired for this role as aProject Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing our water treatment equipment projects from contract origin to commissioning.Manage schedule, budget, and project team members in design, production, installation and commissioning of large scale water treatment system equipment and plants. Responsibilities:
Define project scope and develop scheduleDefine project stakeholdersHold kickoff meeting and communicate responsibilities of all team membersIdentify potential risksTravel to customer office(s), jobsite, supplier facilities as required (this is limited)Manage client expectations through course of contract executionSupport of project teamManage communication planManage and oversee execution of project deliverables and gain approval as required to execute material procurement and construction.Communicate with design, production and suppliers to maintain scopeChange management through project executionWork with site personnel for delivery and coordinate installation technicians for equipment commissioning

Qualifications:
2+ years experience in similar role Project ManagementMS office applicationsAbility to read and comprehend site plans and specificationsPassion for project management disciplineMust have a Bachelor of Science Degree prefer a Civil, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degreeSelf-Motivated, detail oriented and has strong leadership qualitiesStrong communication capabilities and ability to identify need for interventionPeople management and ability to solve design and communication problemsEEO/AA/F/M/Vet/Disabled
