Compensation Minimum:$124,300. Compensation Maximum:$217,700. Summary: The B&A Sales & Service Director ensures the supervision of the Sales and Services teams in providing direction and support to the retail agents in the sale of insurance coverages available thru B&A. This position works closely with all levels of field management personnel responsible for the oversight and management of the American Family agency network. o Offer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checks o Offer to selected candidate is contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions #LI-Remote Job Description: Primary Accountabilities: Establishes, communicates, and implements departmental plans, objectives, and strategies. Participates as a member of the Management Team. Maintains an active awareness of American Family's business environments, corporate culture, and structure to support key decision-making. Manages direct reports, systems, and projects to achieve department/unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices. Prepares and analyzes department/unit plans and reports. Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area. Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance, and maintaining open communications. Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments, and establishing performance & development plans. Travel Requirements. This position requires travel up to 35% of the time. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. Successfully obtain the appropriate insurance licenses in property, casualty, and life as required to do business with American Family and its alliances prior to appointment and maintain such licenses. Demonstrated management or leadership experience. Extensive knowledge and understanding of property & casualty insurance products. Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance industry, markets, competitors, and regulatory constraints. Solid knowledge and understanding of profit and growth measures. Solid knowledge and understanding of sales processes and solution selling. Education/Licenses/Designations: Successfully obtain the appropriate insurance licenses in property, casualty, and life as required to do business with American Family and its alliances prior to appointment and maintain such licenses.
