Summary:

As an Account Executive, your mission is to drive new account growth in mid-size to large staffing companies in the core market segments for the company. The primary performance metric for this role is new account bookings (new software subscription contracts). Key success factors are the ability to win competitive new software sales deals, superior territory and relationship management, working with partners and industry influencers, and excellent prospecting skills at the c-level of small and mid-size companies. Account Executives are tasked with building relationships with prospective customers, representing the company at client events and industry tradeshows, delivering software solution proposals, and securing new business through contract negotiations.


This is what you'll do:

  • Manage a defined sales territory by identifying, developing and closing new business
  • Execute a consultative, solution selling process; build value, identify decision makers, understand needs/reason for the change, demonstrate solutions, present proposal, negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed quota targets
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and objectives as well as assisting in reaching departmental goals and objectives
  • Build a pipeline, while utilizing your skills to document and track activities in Salesforce.com
  • Set and manage customer expectations pre/post-sale to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Attend various industry conferences and events throughout the year to represent the brand, build rapport with existing Avionte clients, partners, and employees, and network with prospective clients
  • Maintain knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales Engineers and other pre-sale resources in a team selling environment


This is what you'll need:

  • Self-starter, motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • 3+ years of successful enterprise software selling experience selling to new accounts
  • 2+ years selling to or working with staffing companies preferred
  • Ability to listen, synthesize information, and communicate business and technical information clearly
  • Exceptional time management skills with strong sales discipline
  • Organized and persuasive presenter
  • Ability to learn quickly, understand complex systems, and relate benefits to business people
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close high-value new business contracts
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to client sites in the US and Canada (when safe to travel)
