Private Client Tax Practice Leader

You will work within a collaborative environment ensuring excellent service to our industry diverse clientele. The Private Client Tax Group Practice Leader is responsible for leading the department in providing tax planning, consulting and compliance expertise as well as developing others. Core Attributes Include : * Team Leader Responsible for staffing, training, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable to specific objectives * Client Service Mindset Responsible for ensuring client service is top of mind for all members of the team * Strong Technical Expert Thought leader and resource for technical matters impacting clients served by the Private Client team and other tax services teams * Process Orientated Responsible for developing, implementing and refining processes to assist with accurate and timely delivery of tax compliance work Responsibilities Include: * Develop, lead and manage workflow of individual tax returns * Ensure the utmost quality standards by acting as a technical resource on topics pertaining to complex individual tax filings * Maintain active communications with clients to develop longstanding business relationships, manage expectations, safeguard satisfaction and ensure client service expectations are met * Take an active role in training and developing associates within the tax services group * Advance your expertise in tax matters through continued education and research Ideal Candidate Qualifications: * CPA or JD preferred * 8+ years of experience working in individual tax consulting and compliance * Experience in a managerial or leadership role within public accounting Lurie LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
