We continue to innovate in key areas and are extending our innovations into new geographies and high-growth adjacency markets.About this role:The Facilities Planning Manager will manage office renovation projects and campus workplace strategies. Provide support for site master planning and guide the Facilities Planning team with workplace strategy implementation and office moves/adds/changes. Work with other Facilities, Environmental, Health & Safety Managers as a team supporting the Director of Facilities.Your responsibilities include: Seasoned Project Manager with experience in all aspects of design and construction project management including project design process, budget development and tracking, consultant coordination, and contractor and construction management. Strong strategic thinking skills to address workplace strategies, integrate BSC standards, develop new initiatives, and engage in visionary dialogue with senior leadership. Influence master planning for site space requirements including 3-5 year forecasting and parking. Manage the space planning process and cadence for all renovations and remodels. Excels at customer relations, including presentations to large groups and engaging the customer in the process for successful change management and project execution. Leadership - able to mentor planning team, lead construction team, customer team, and related cross functional services. Excels at interpreting multiple forms of communication including verbal, non-verbal, and visual. Ability to define objectives, propose strategic options, and format a talk track for impactful presentations and dialogue. Able to turn challenges into successful resolutions - looks at change positively. AutoCAD experience required, Microsoft Office experience required, CAFM experience preferred. Ability to coordinate the various roles of the planning team based on project and customer needs. Engage & manage architectural and engineering resources for design & analysis. Manage the current & future CAFM data including all data about spaces such as occupant, type of space, cost center assignment, contents of space, remodel history, et cetera. Manage the space allocation data and provide summarized allocation data for the annual budgeted allocation out of facility costs. Manage furniture selection, purchase, installation and relocation. Manage the planned acquisition of furniture in advance of need. Manage both on-site and off-site furniture inventory. Perform other duties as needed under the work direction of the Director of Facilities. Manage the design and layout processes. Manage and control the building master drawings. Manage, maintain, coordinate and control the "as-built" building master drawings and manufacturing layouts through internal and external resources. Manage within department budget. Manage metrics & performance standards for Space Management.Additional responsibilities unique to this position: Focus on advancing the Computer Aided Facilities Management system to include work system management, asset preservation, and office utilization accuracy. Assist Facilities Director in coordination of space planning and move execution.
