Mortenson has been voted a "best place to work" 40 plus times regionally over the past decade......What are you waiting for?!Summary: Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive who is responsible for providing overall management for large projects, leading the project team and ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assist operating group with winning work. This individual will have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain successful customer and/or community relationshipsConduct key customer service visits throughout the project, from pre-construction client surveys to close-out, ensuring project commitments are met, and issues are resolvedPreview proposals before submission and participate in Request for Proposal processAct as primary customer contact for all assigned projectsMaintain customer relationships to be aware of current and future projectsSupport business development initiatives in establishing and building on client relationships Provide oversight and accountability for large project(s)Manage contract administration including, but not limited to: terms, change requests, invoices and progress payments, etcEstablish and implement project objective and proceduresMaintain project budgets, costs, and pricing, ensuring delivery of a profitable project. Provide leadership to project teamReview work of Senior Project Manager(s) and Project Manager(s) assigned to projectsMentor and manage team members, establishing and fostering team environmentDevelop team members for future career consideration and training opportunitiesEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsLead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance Other duties as assignedProvide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team membersUse the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project successMortenson by the numbers $5.05B 2019 revenue ~6,500+ employees across 11 offices + field 1954 year founded Our approach to leadership and culture Our founder Mort Mortenson believed that we were all born to be leaders; that leadership wasn't something that just happened to us but was something within us.QualificationsMinimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large projects ($70M+)Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks Experience in Energy Storage, Solar or Emerging Renewables, or electrical transmission and distribution fields Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies Current driver's licenseKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusive Behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended useAbility to travel up to 50%Education:Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field Mortenson is an EOE/Affirmative Action/M/F/Veteran/Disabled employer.
