Project Estimator

Location: Anoka, MN

Duration: Direct Hire

Pay: $65-75k/yr

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Project Estimator for a customer located in Anoka, MN.

Job Description:

Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing professional and accurate cost estimates in a highly competitive industry. You will work with customers to understand requests for quotes. Solicit material and outside service prices from suppliers. Will use machine knowledge to establish basic manufacturing concepts and estimate costs on various types of equipment and processes. Estimates should include material processing, CNC machining, secondary operations, and other services to support new and existing business.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree preferred, machining related course or equivalent experience in manufacturing
• 3-4 years of experience in CNC machining environment
• Able to read blueprints, GD&T, SPC and precision measurement experience
• Understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate CAD systems
