For more information about Kohler Co.'s Power Group business, please visit Product Manager - Clean Energy, responsibilities include the development, profitability, growth, and maintenance of the Clean Energy product portfolio. This includes strategic market and financial planning, competitive analyses, product development support, product specifications, cross functional project management, cost reductions and aftermarket product support. Works closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality and Channel Marketing to improve competitive position and increase market share.Other competencies associated with primary function and scope are as follows:Possess in-depth knowledge of the Clean Energy customer, channel, and competitors.Demonstrate high-level presentation/communication skills.Manage across functional areas to see the big picture.Understand operational, manufacturing, supply chain and NPD processes.Familiarity with application of installer/consumer/product research methodologies.Specific Responsibilities:Define and deliver a product vision and strategy provide the why.Execute VoC research to support product development and establishing roadmap.Analyze and update competitive landscape, reporting on changes to KOHLER product advantages and areas to exploit market weaknesses to gain market share.Develop comprehensive review and impact analysis of compliance regulations governing relevant applications. Proactively identify risks and develop plans for ensuring product line is compliant with pending requirements.Complete analysis of serviceability to identify paths for improvement for dealers.Full Product Lifecycle Management, from concept to rationalization. In addition, working with Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing to improve costing and supply chain issues on low margin products.Skills/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Marketing required; MBA preferred.5+ years of product management experience supporting power generation, energy management or electrification solutions.Data-driven and results-oriented.Excellent written and verbal communications.Excellent marketing knowledge with strong analytical and presentation skills.Highly organized, drive deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Ability to travel 25-35% of time as needed.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.Why Work at Kohler Co.?Kohler Co.'s mission is to contribute to a higher level of gracious living for those who are touched by our products and services.
