Energy and Resources Business Unit in TCS partners with customers from the Oil and Gas, Metals and Mining and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) sectors. With a growing industry leadership position, the Business unit today helps drive innovation and thought leadership to over 50 customers across the globe to drive the customer's digital growth and transformation journey. With a focus on location independent agile, industrial engineering capabilities, data driven transformation and connected ecosystems, the unit delivers business value to stakeholders across the board.The Business Consultant position is a role within Energy And Resources - Americas Business unit and will be based out of Houston, Texas. This is a critical role with very high visibility within the unit. The candidate would be a leader with deep understanding of the domain and technology with a strong bias for action.He / She would be a skilled professional who can understand customers digital transformation journey, can talk to business and IT team to understand pain areas. Associate is Responsible for development of business cases, authoring proposals, Creating win themes, articulating the value proposition, integrating the disparate solutions from various verticals into one cohesive winning story. Responsibilities: 10+ years of experience in Customer facing roles in Account Growth/PreSales/Digital/Business transformation in E Industry Ability to understand, analyze and propose a way forward to cater to Digital/business transformation needs of the customer Decent understanding of Energy & Resource Ecosystem (Oil & Gas or Metals & Mining), Expertise in one or more functional areas Prior working experience in E Industry with the service providers/industry in the consulting role Understanding of the Industry trends, direction, region specific needs to engage with the customers Ability to conceptualize/ideate POCs/MVPs, demonstrations and collaborate with customer solution teams Ability to communicate/present and engage with Industry business leaders and with C-level executives Solution architecture for end to end system, Evaluate and recommend technologies, products, processes & tools Identify & pursue potential opportunities working closely with Customer and TCS internal ecosystem to win more business Ability to collaborate and work with geographically spread multi-cultural / diverse teams Demonstrate capability to perform task independently with thought leadership Ambitious individual who can work independently towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to workSkill and Experience Requirement: 15+ years of experience in heading an innovation or transformation segment in any unit/ handling large program and must comfortable with Digital/Business Transformation. Exceptional relationship management skills with strong ability to build and grow the connections. Identify and develop new business opportunities within oil and gas, metal and mining and EPC (Engineering and Construction) areas. Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility and trust for client pitches and proposals. Collaborate effectively with Client Partner, Business Development and IT teams. Demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in conducting demonstrations, training, and experience working in Business-to-Business situations.Education Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred#LI-AK1
