As aHuman Resources Generalist, you will support the Director of Human Resources in all aspects of compliance with local, stateandfederal laws. This individual must have expertise in the following areas and will be responsible for all reporting and communications as deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources:Responsibilities Include:Oversite and processing as needed of our bi-weekly, multi-state payroll.Research, resolve, and track tax inquiries, wage data, and payroll adjustments.Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislations; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising HR Leadership on needed actions.Oversight of allquarterly and annual tax returns. Reply to tax notices from third party vendors, federal, state and local jurisdictions.Complete audits, reconciliation, and data analysis relating toall areas ofpayroll and payroll taxesand compliance areas-EEOC-AAP-OSHA -DOT.Assist external auditors in the review and auditing of Company operations preparation of various audit work papers as requested.Register and set up profiles for new state and local tax IDs.Manage 401(k) contributions and reporting.Qualifications:Ultimate Software's UltiPro experience preferred.Work experience in Human Resources, some college education is a plus.Minimum of 4 years running multi-state payroll.At least 2 years of experience with Payroll Tax.SHRM certification is a plus.Payroll Certification is a plus.Strong knowledge of generally accepted payroll principles and standards relating to payroll audits, practices, and reporting.Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and adapt to a frequently changing work environment while meeting deadlines.Ability to be flexible based on business needs.An industry leader, FMP offers a well-balanced compensation and benefits programs, including medical, dental, life, 401K, profit sharing, paid holidays/vacation/sick time, STD/LTD, + much more.
