Senior Accountant

Accountemps currently have a vacancy for a full-time Senior Accountant with drive and experience at a growing Professional Services company. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are seeking an individual with exemplary analytical skills who enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment in order to support the continued success of the company.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet analysis for management reporting

- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls

- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

- Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

- BA/BS in Accounting preferred

- 4+ years of overall general accounting experience

- Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems

- Strong attention to detail
