The primary role of the Data Quality Manager is to ensure that we are consistently applying the right balance of best practices, people, processes, policy, and technology levers in order to ensure our marketing/sales customer data set is accurate, complete, consistent, timely and valid. The Data Quality Manager will work closely with stakeholders within RSM US and RSM Canada to develop, manage and govern a comprehensive and scalable DQM model that will ensure optimal ongoing management of our customer data as a critical asset.

Essential Duties:

Data management

Establish Data Quality assurance process model within the DQM framework to:

Ensure a consistent, accurate, complete, unique, and timely view to customer and relationship data in a way that helps understand and enrich customer relationships, and optimally supports demand (lead) generation and sales activities
Monitor, track and report on ongoing data quality levels and data integrity fallouts across data domains such as sales, marketing and relationship management
Perform regular data audits to identify and help prioritize improvement opportunities
Support data stewards, owners and 3rd party partners on execution of, and adherence to, on-going data quality processes and ongoing data cleansing projects
Perform data cleansing procedures and remediation activities
Enable data standardization and validation measures
Facilitate planning and execution of adhoc' data cleansing programs involving data stewards and/or owners
Research and recommend 3rd party data quality management tools and/or data services needed to validate, resolve integrity issues or improve consistency of data in a consistent and scalable manner
Gather requirements for any technology enhancements needed to sustainably implement data management standards
Actively solicit stakeholder feedback on data quality to identify continuous improvement opportunities
Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations and policies
Maintain data integrity checks between the integration of customer data sets and other internal and 3rd party software systems

Data Quality Management Strategy and Governance:

Establish customer data quality objectives and KPI's
Evolve and maintain a cohesive DQM framework that is aligned with business priorities and digital marketing/sales strategy
Work with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to develop and lead an effective data governance structure for our customer data
Actively participate in enterprise data governance activities to ensure consistent alignment, evolution and adherence to standards across data sets
Maintain, support and evolve CRM/marketing data stewardship and accountability model
Develop, document and refine best practices and standard operating procedures for data collection, cleansing, enrichment, deduplication and enhancement of data
Create and use business capability models to visualize what information matters most to the organization based on defined business goals
Provide ongoing training and support to data stewards and information owners to ensure understanding of, and adherence to, data quality standards are maintained
Engage with leadership and key stakeholders to drive adoption of good data management practice across the business
Champion the importance of managing our data as an asset

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor degree in data science, technology or related business field of study required

Technical/Soft Skills:

Data Business Process Modeling
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong analytical and evaluation skills
Detail oriented
Effective organizational, facilitation, and time management skills
Self-motivated

Experience:

3+ years in a data quality management role
3+ years working with CRM systems such as Dynamics or SFDC - ideally within a large scale B2B
3+ years of work experience in data management best practices such as data sourcing, data governance, validation, cleansing, and enrichment
3+ years working with DQM systems and tools such as ETL, CDP, MDM and 3rd party data validation and enrichment services
Strong working knowledge of digital marketing platforms highly preferred
Experience with managing large volumes of data (structured and unstructured) is a must

Leadership Skills

Strong communication skills for differing audiences and situations, including persuasion, facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to influence and lead a team of indirect reports
Provide ability to work with and through multiple teams to drive alignment and results
Holds self and others accountable for sharing knowledge and best practices
