Summary:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager - Field Development is responsible for the continued delivery, quality, process improvements, and assistance with high-profile initiatives that drive revenue and client engagement.

  • Direct oversight and development of new technicians to a point where they are successful in their roles.
  • Ownership for all aspects of the subcontractor relationship.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to new employees.
  • Owner of all EPG training needs for the employees.
  • Identify process and quality improvement for the department that results in improved financials and client satisfaction.
  • Step in to oversee and implement complex service and installation projects.
  • Create an environment in which employees enjoy their job and are challenged with new learning and career opportunities.
  • Ensure the entire EPG process flow is acted upon, including documentation, client communication, and successfully completing work tickets.
  • Partner with the business development team to enhance the client experience and deliver on commitments.
  • Ability to manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.
  • Proficient in issue resolution.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of fire and security industry.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include the following:

  • Bachelor's degree required or 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years in progressive career responsibilities in operational-related positions.
  • Ability to follow the GSSC corporate values.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective listener, problem solver and leader.
  • Flexible, adaptable and a proven ability to manage change in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • Comfort in working in a results-based environment where success can be measured.

Preferred qualifications include the following:

  • PLT certification, or willingness to achieve within 12 months of employment.
  • Licensed electrician
