Position Description

Mint Roofing is looking to add an experienced commercial roofing service sales person to our talented sales team! The Service Sales person will focus on growing existing business with customers who have previously utilized Mint Roofing services and develop relationships with new customers. This person will achieve sales goals by using a consultative sales process to generate leads, prospect, and conduct face-to-face meetings with current and potential customers. They will conduct detailed, onsite inspections of roofs to accurately diagnose how to best repair, maintain or replace each roof. Based on this assessment, the Service Sales person will put together an estimate for their proposed work and gain a commitment from the customer to choose Mint Roofing as their preferred commercial roofing partner.

This position will be knowledgeable of our complete range of roofing products,

services and solutions and focus on exceeding the customer's expectations for

service, knowledge and professionalism. They will collaborate and

communicate cross-functionally between Sales, Finance and Operations.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in developing new business, account management and sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Consultative and conceptual selling skills are a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to change and adapt to the needs of the customer
  • Be able to communicate, influence and persuade business owners, engineers, facility managers, property managers and people supervising roof maintenance and repairs
  • Strong connections and ability to network with commercial property managers/owners
  • Ability to put together an estimate to maintain, repair, or replace a roof
  • Takes initiative to solve problems, consistently achieve results, work independently and work as a team in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Experience in and knowledge of commercial roofing; ability to creatively troubleshoot
  • Able to understand blueprints, roof geometry, layout, materials and warranties. CAD experience is a plus
  • Computer skills with the following software programs; FCS, Google Suite, EDGE Estimating, Microsoft Office, Excel, and ability to learn new software


Qualifications & Benefits

  • Minimum of two years proven track record of consultative sales experience
  • Minimum of two years background in commercial roofing or construction industry
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Must be able to access a roof
