Position Summary

This position is responsible for the overall planning, development, procurement, support, and execution of all IT functions for North America. This includes directing all IT operations to meet internal and external customer requirements while supporting and maintaining existing applications/systems, and develop new technical solutions, and partnering with 3rd party vendors to deliver reliable technology solutions. This person must keep any personnel information confidential and always handle themselves in a professional manner.


This position is based in Muskego, Wisconsin and is not eligible for relocation or fulltime remote work.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals
  • Analyze complex business needs and recommends competitively priced technical solutions
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
  • Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
  • Produce detailed project plans for implementation of new solutions, infrastructure upgrades, software releases, and produces status reports to senior management and applicable steering committees
  • Work with Manager(s) to Directs and prioritizes the workload of IT personnel, using metrics to monitor progress to ensure delivery of SLAs
  • Participate on all hardware and software evaluations and negotiates/manages vendor contracts
  • Represent the IT function at customer review meetings when appropriate
  • Prepare financial budgets, present proposals for capital projects to senior executives, and actively monitor variances
  • Define issues and system defects as they arise and coordinate help desk tickets for resolution by support team and consultants

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience in leading, coaching, guiding, and developing an IT team, including many SaaS relationships in a hands-on environment.
  • Experience with SAP ERP ECC (SD, MM, PP, PM, FI, CO ideal); Variant Config., QM, Content Management a plus.
  • Experience or familiarity with CRM system like Salesforce
  • Familiarity with O365, collaboration tools, Quickbooks, and Microsoft suite is a requirement.
  • Background in IT solutions supporting manufacturing vertical.
  • Ability to perform work and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make appropriate technology decisions and devise solutions for system problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Education, Training, Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field required; MSc/MA will be a plus
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience within information technology.
  • Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

??? Work is performed inside, with little to no exposure to weather conditions. May be noisy at times due to proximity to factory. Minimal travel required throughout the US and Canada.
