Job Summary

The Associate Data Integrity Analyst captures and documents requirements for data requests. This role interprets requirements into write use cases and documents data mapping, translations, and validation strategies. The Associate Data Integrity Analyst performs research as directed to identify business processes and technical aspects to identify impact and remediation approaches for data integrity issues. This role adheres to standards, processes, and technologies to capture data requirements, data governance, and project delivery. The Associate Data Integrity Analyst will work with the data governance stakeholders to document data activities. Research, collaboration, and analytical thinking are key traits for success in this role.

Essential Functions
  • Acts as a liaison between the data management services team and business stakeholders to provide support for project deliverables.
  • Analyzes requested business deliverables, identifies data sources, and defines data mapping and data translation requirements.
  • Documents data user stories, business requirements, data flows, and data mappings to support the development of extract, transform, load (ETL) programs that produce required and requested data files.
  • Documents requirements for data quality, verification, and test approaches and processes, including automated validation and verification steps of ETL processing needed.
  • Assists in validation of new file extracts, validates business requirements have been met, and obtains acceptance of delivery artifacts.
  • Analyzes and documents data requirements to support source production systems changes. Defines impacts, requirements, and changes in data assets or ETL programs.
  • Provides support to manage and facilitate enterprise data governance meetings and working sessions.
  • Assists in maintaining, preparing, and updating documentation, information, and specifications.
  • Updates information in metadata management and data cataloging tools.
  • Works with reporting teams and others performing analytics and reporting to research and resolve data integrity or quality issues.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's

Preferred: Bachelor's

Field(s) of Study: Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related field

Experience Requirements

Required: Minimum of 1 Year

Preferred: Minimum of 2 Years

Experience Details: Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis, data mapping, and data validation. Preferred experience working with healthcare data.

Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
