International Safety Components (ISC) has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative to grow existing customer accounts and support and capture new client inquiries as we grow our international network of dealer partners. Our mission is to make ISC height safety products broadly available through an expanding international network of dealer partners.

ISC is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of highly engineered height safety equipment for numerous industrial applications. This position supports our North and South America dealer networks and is located in Wayzata MN.


Main areas of responsibility are as follows:

Customer Account Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for Customer Account support.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, problem resolution, and other requests.
  • Process customer order input and coordinate with Operations for delivery needs.
  • Monitor various accounts for performance and develop account improvement strategies.
  • Educate dealers on our product offerings, features, benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Prepare sales activity reports and provide sales management with account and market information.
  • Engage with new sales inquiries and potential clients to determine needs and opportunities, elevate to sales managers as needed.
  • Successfully introduce new products and promotions by telephone, internet, and social media to customers.
  • Maintain accurate sales and performance metrics and develop growth and improvement strategies with sales managers.
  • Continuously source, capture, analyse and interpret relevant market intelligence and sales performance data.
  • Communicate new market / competitive learnings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning and Operations to forecast customer needs and schedule supply chains.


??? Marketing Assistance

  • Monitor and share information on market trends, movements and competitors based on customer feedback/engagement.
  • Assist in the development and use of market analysis models.
  • Maintain customer and industry networks to obtain valuable marketing intelligence information.
  • Participate in developing marketing strategies to drive the growth of the business.
  • Generate accurate monthly and ad-hoc reports and information when required.
  • Support the sales and marketing department with tasks and initiatives when required.
  • Required to attend trade shows, professional events, and sales meetings.
