Position Overview

The EDI Analyst is responsible for the implementation of electronic data interchange systems between Digi-Key and its trading partners using traditional EDI standards.

Responsibilities

Must be able to...
  • Setup, test, and maintain EDI Trading Partnerships utilizing best practices
  • Analyze, develop, and exchange EDI specifications with Trading Partners
  • Map EDI Transactions for proper translation of transmissions with trading partners and internal processes
  • Experience with the product IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the REMEDI Framework and Cleo Harmony would be a plus
  • Act as the primary EDI contact for external trading partners and internal business partners
  • Manage connections with trading partners (VAN, AS2, cXML, HTTPS, SFTP, etc)
  • Knowledge about various networking protocols and their usage
  • Adhere to the corporate security policies
  • Working knowledge of the technical tools used in the EDI area
  • Provide support for questions and issues surrounding the transmission and receipt of EDI transactions
  • Investigate problems and identifies need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution
  • Deliver excellent customer service with urgency and ownership
  • Provide assistance to team members to accomplish team objectives
  • Demonstrate proven behavioral skills, including being a team player, sound thinking and judgment, achieving results, relating to people, managing work effectively, and leading by example

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
  • Associate or higher degree in a technology-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • Must be detail Orientated
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical, organizational, planning, problem solving, and customer service skills
  • Continually striving to gather knowledge and information relevant to business needs in order to achieve results
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all time's
