Financial Reporting Analyst

Description of Position

Are you a financial reporting guru looking for a short term project where you can lend your expertise? If so, Accountemps may have the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently partnering with a client in the hospitality industry that is looking for a contractor to assist with revamping a variety of financial reports. The total duration of the project is expected to last 3-5 days, so candidates looking for part time or ad hoc projects would be perfect for this role. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for making formatting changes to a variety of P& L reports at both a department level and a consolidated enterprise level. You will also be responsible for building a balance sheet and cash flow statements. If you're interested in learning more about this project, please don't delay in calling. How you will make an impact:

- Review and modify a variety of income statements for both specific departments, as well as the consolidated entity.

- Utilize the report writer function of Club Essential software to create a balance sheet and cash flow statement from scratch.

- Provide analysis on financial results, including trends, performance metrics, benchmarks

- Function as a subject matter expert to provide support to the accounting team when questions regarding financial reports arise.

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Requirements

- 5+ years of overall general accounting and financial reporting experience

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired.

- Previous experience with Club Essential report writer is required.

- Demonstrated knowledge of Ledger Account Analysis

- Experience with Year-end Financial Statements

- Advanced Excel experience
