A role inConstructionmeans leading theexecution of the new store, reOrganizationel and innovation plans and projects.From large program rollouts to unique special projects, new small-format stores and large-format ground-up constructionyou'll help manage the scope, schedule and budget for alltypes ofTarget construction projects. Thisincludesadhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You'll keepall ofthe players and partners aligned with effective communication between external vendors, general contractors, internal Target field leadership and project teams.
As an Associate Project ManagerinConstruction, you'llhelpdevelop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; as well as direct, supervise, andcontrol the construction and fixture installation process for assigned projects to meet established goals and objectives.You'llact asanOwners Site Representatives in managing the on-site construction team, facilitating open communications to ensure timely project execution, managing projects to highest quality standards. Learn how to manage projects ranging fromsinglelocationprojects tolarge program rollouts, unique special projects, reOrganizationels, unique small format new stores and large format new store/ground-up construction.You'll gain experience reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, make recommendations andapprove subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessary contracts. You'll learn to conduct cross-functional meetings to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the projects. You will gain experience managing program change, solving, and communicating problems to ensure prompt resolution.In this role your key focus will be in ensuring successful project execution while maintaining Target's quality standards.

About you

4-year degree, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
Experience in construction project management
Requires knowledge of construction processes, best practices and industrystandards
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Highly self-motivated and committed to the development of high-quality work andproductivity
