Process Engineer, QualityLocation:Kohler, WIOpportunityAs a Process Engineer, you will drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives within Wisconsin Faucets Operations with the goal of becoming the most trusted supplier within Kohler Company.You will be able to show current results in advanced problem-solving tools; actively practicing 6 sigma and/or Shainin Red X techniques. The candidate will also be able to accept, embrace, and drive change to improve overall quality systems resulting in improved production performance and customer experience.Identify and coordinate quality and process improvement initiatives to assure that all processes and systems are all being reviewed, assessed, and improved.Evaluate production and customer data to drive improvements in production performance and customer experience.Direct and coordinate the approval of PPAPs and lead Operation Certification initiatives.Drive KQMS initiatives to identify gaps to achieve next tier status and understand and develop strategy throughout all tiers.Assist in developing associate problem-solving capabilities within all production tiers.Strive to improve existing manufacturing and support systems to facilitate increased performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.Skills/RequirementsA Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline from an ABET Certified university preferred.3 to 5 years of Quality or Process engineering experience.Experience with data analysis with software using Minitab or equivalent.Advanced problem solving; shown usage of Six Sigma or Shainan Red X techniques.Must have a proven background of evaluating data to drive process improvements.Should look for opportunities to lead by example and implement sustainable preventative actions.Capable of improving quality systems and teaching and leading structured problem-solving concepts.Must be someone who accepts, embraces, and drives change.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.Why Work at Kohler Co.?Kohler Co.'s mission is to contribute to a higher level of gracious living for those who are touched by our products and services.
