Danfoss Drives is seeking a strong and experienced industrial sales professional to play a key role on our Channel Partner Management team, driving a focused, growth transformation in our North American industrial distribution channel. To help drive this growth, Danfoss has several exciting new value ads for our distribution channel. Additionally, this high visibility role will be supported by the entire organization, including regional and vertical sales, marketing, training, operations, product management, and supply chain, to accelerate our market share growth with distributors and enhance their ease of doing business with Danfoss.

Job Responsibilities

Working in a matrixed organization to collaborate with Regional and Vertical sales managers and
Build and maintain a channel sales pipeline that supports exceeding sales quotas
Provide accurate forecasting
Create and maintain key customer account plans with distributors
Contribute to the strategy development and execution of our go to market plan through industrial distribution
Drive partner accountability for the business planning process, support execution and follow-up results
Enforcement of partner compliance with policies and appointment requirements
Assist in establishment and coordination of regular distribution partner leadership council meetings
Acquire, analyze and report data required for partner evaluations and identification of additional opportunities (eg, CAGR, POS, Market Share, KPI compliance, etc.)
Conduct virtual and in-person presentations to customers, partners and Danfoss management

Background & Skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industrial technical background
10+ years of industrial sales experience, working indirectly with channel partners or 5+ years of sales experience directly managing distribution channels
Stable job history that demonstrates a proven record of meeting aggressive sales goals
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industrial technical background
Experience in creating and successfully executing strategic sales and development plans
Professional, tenacious and strong, convincing communication skills
Self-starter, highly motivated, driven to achieve results that exceed quota
Ability to work independently with effective time management and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a matrixed organization and contributing to a team
Must have a growth mind-set with a willingness to effectively apply new tools and develop new skills to support both individual and team success
