Wells Fargo recently announced the sale of Wells Fargo Asset Management to GTCR LLC and Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. The sale is expected to close in the second half of 2021. We are continuing to recruit for open positions supporting Asset Management, but want to ensure you are aware that when the sale closes this position will be transferred to the new company. If you begin working at Wells Fargo, you should expect to transfer with the sale to the new company, with similar employment terms and conditions following your Wells Fargo start date.
The Transformation Team is a part of the WFAM Office of the CAO. Our mission is to execute on business, technology, digital, and cultural transformation across WFAM to drive excellence and make the organization more nimble and innovative.
Position responsibilities for this role include:
  • Manage the early talent in the Analyst Development Program (ADP); analysts and interns supporting asset management
    • Work with recruiting on developing and executing a campus recruiting strategy to include outreach to diverse student groups and organizations, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs)
    • Develop the ADP training curriculum and coordinate with business leaders the training content to maximize growth and development
  • Act as business point of contact for HR rules and processes, business policies, and procedures surrounding hiring and recruiting, performance management, compensation, role identification (job code/family), etc.
  • Direct management responsibility for strategic business-led talent pipeline initiative including:
    • Partnering with WFAM Executive Sponsors, Finance, and Compensation to approve budget/headcount/salary annually
    • Collaborating with WFAM and University Recruiting to provide line of business support and coordination for the end to end recruiting and hiring process
    • Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of programs, services, and initiatives
    • Manage the team member onboarding process and partner with managers to ensure on time and successful completion of onboarding milestones and deliverables
    • Planning and coordination of events including a one-week industry training intensive
    • Develop and manage the on-going communication plan
  • Manage WFAM relationship with Recruiting serving as the business lead for recruiting and onboarding efforts for key positions across the firm
  • Maintain constant focus on diversity and inclusion for all hiring endeavors and work to achieve business and firm D&I initiatives and goals
  • Serve on WFAM Diversity & Inclusion Council assisting in recruiting initiatives
  • Co-lead the WFAM Ambassador Program
    • Ambassadors are aligned to diverse partner organizations and this program is key to our diversity and inclusion hiring efforts. Ambassadors share job opportunities and participate in networking events, career fairs, industry panels, mock interviews, etc.
    • Lead quarterly meetings to share best practices and report on activities
  • Serve as a connection point for WFAM and strategic partners to implement key business initiatives
  • Ownership of Staff Management updates and changes, and head count analysis with finance partners
  • Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Salary offered dependent on location. Charlotte is preferred location, but other locations may be considered.
May be considered for a discretionary bonus.

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of management experience
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting and presenting results to management
