Position Overview:
The Search team is responsible for driving traffic and visibility to Digi-Key's website from search engines through both paid and unpaid efforts.
The Sr. Search Engine Marketing Analyst is responsible for the implementation and management of paid seach marketing campaigns. This involves working with internal and external partners to drive business growth through search engine traffic at an elevated level.

- Handle day-to-day paid search campaign management including budget allocation, ad copy testing, and campaign optimizations
- Work closely with contacts from major search providers (Google, Bing, etc.) and agency partners to optimize ad campaign performance
- Identify translation needs for campaigns and initiate requests to internal translation team
- Develop and maintain performance reports summarizing paid search activity in relation to departmental goals and KPI's
- Analyze data from multiple sources in order to best optimize campaigns
- Stay in tune with industry updates and our competitive landscape
- Keep up do date with paid search best-practices and strategies
- Collaborate with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team to uncover areas of opportunity for both SEO and SEM
- Understand where data resides and know how to access or who to contact to get the information they need (analytics, corporate research, DEC, Optimize)
- Grow the customer count and profit associated with the SEM program through superior campaign management and project management
- Collaborate with in-region marketing staff to optimize campaign performance
- Test and implement new paid search tactics. Communicate results to team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the product marketing team to optimize campaign performance

- Attend meetings, conferences and/or seminars; gains outside Digi-Key perspective and best practices
- Travel when necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience (Minimum/Essential Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years Search Engine Marketing/Pay Per Click experience
- Experience within PPC/SEM for eCommerce
- Experience with PPC/SEM for international markets
- Experience with Google Shopping
- Merchant Center and feed management experience
- Basic knowledge of Google analytics
- Knowledge of various bidding strategies
- Experience with applying audiences to campaigns
- Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
- Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
- Demonstrated Behavioral Competencies: Relationship Building, Developing Others, Information Seeking, Continuous Learning
Preferred Qualifications/Selection Criteria:
- Two Year Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
- Knowledge or experience in the following tools/systems: Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Japan, Baidu, Naver, 360, Bid Management Tool Experience, Excel & PPT, and Analytics - GA or Webtrends
- Google Adwords certification
