This position will be assigned to work out of our home office in Bloomington, IL or our Central Office in the Minneapolis, MN.
As the IT Engineer, in Collaboration Technologies, you are primarily responsible for the interacting with COUNTRY Financial's information systems through Microsoft's M365 platform, digital faxing, email security, and email archiving. In this role you will assist in moving this technology forward by thinking outside of the box and partnering with team members within and outside of the team. With a driven attitude and commitment to improve, you will have the opportunity to grow and learn within these diverse technology stacks.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are currently limiting the number of employees in our offices. This position will begin working in a remote capacity and will be expected to return to the assigned office location following a broader return to work announcement.
How does an IT Implementation Engineer make an impact?
  • Design, build, implement, and support COUNTRY's IT solutions.
  • Ensure IT solutions meet requirements for security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable, reducing overall support costs.
  • Understand industry leading solutions and trends for assigned technologies and applying those as appropriate for COUNTRY.
  • Understand business needs and partnering with appropriate IT counterparts to recommend technology solutions.
  • Establish and maintain an IT multi-year strategy with a focus on continuous improvement. Create and maintain solutions architecture artifacts and other strategy and system documentation.


Job Requirements:
Do you have what we're looking for?
  • Strong knowledge of deploying Microsoft's M365 services and platforms.
  • Strong experience supporting Exchange and Exchange Online.
  • Good experience with Proofpoint (email archiving and security).
  • Solid working knowledge of Server technologies, Active Directory, Group Policy, and network technologies are required.
  • Must have scripting/automation skillset in industry standard tools (i.e. PowerShell).
  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of information technology experience (or equivalent, such as 7 years experience or Master's degree and at least 3 years of experience).
