The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Within EFT the Corporate Risk Technology group helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Within Corporate Risk Technology the Shared Risk Platform Team (SHRP) strives to ensure that all Wells Fargo corporate functions and lines of business soundly manage risk, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and offer products and services that meet the needs of our customers. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to effectively design software solutions, assist with problem identification and share best practices.

Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role will be:

??? Design, estimate, build and implement highly distributed, scalable and performance .NET applications
??? Identify key business processes and deliver subject specific solutions
??? Provide input into project plans and ensure accurate tracking to meet target milestones
??? Partnering with product owner to ensure system changes/enhancements are appropriate, effectively designed and tested prior to their move to production
??? Support ongoing efforts for Development, QA and Production environments
??? Effectively communicate design and create documentation to ensure proper implementation
??? Responsible for quality and delivery of the requirements, and for ensuring that all work tasks are assigned and completed in accordance with project schedules and plans
??? Provide guidance and direction on production issues
??? Continuously improve processes to raise quality and shrink timelines
??? Understand and assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met
??? Participate in daily scrum meetings and ensure updates are done in a timely fashion to the user stories assigned
??? Participate in BCP activities

??? Develop and maintain schedules/calendars, change timelines, meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other artifacts

??? Ability to work "flextime" to attend scheduled meetings off hours with international teams



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of ASP.Net experience
  • 5+ years of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experience
  • 3 + years of Entity Framework experience
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3+ years of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) development experience
  • 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
  • 1 + years of experience with front end frameworks such as Bootstrap
  • 5 + years of experience with SQL Server including, but not limited to, queries, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, or triggers

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Agile experience
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical environments: management and production release coordination
  • Git or GitHub experience
  • Experience delivering, evaluating, or testing large technology efforts
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management in the financial services industry



Other Desired Qualifications

5+ years of application infrastructure and operations support experience.
5+ years of .NET Full Stack development experience
