Property Accountant

If you're looking to further your career as a Staff Accountant, the innovative team at Robert Half Finance is currently offering a full-time opportunity in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt industry that you might be interested in. In this role, the Staff Accountant is in charge of preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. Throughout the monthly close, you will also be responsible for various aspects of internal reporting. You will lend your skills in assisting the development and implementation of accounting policies. Also, you will take part in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This position is very involved as it will produce Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. This is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity in the St. Paul suburbs, at a company where effort is rewarded.

Responsibilities are primarily related to all accounting for multiple commercial and residential properties, working with owners, property managers and the rest of the internal accounting team. This role strongly encourages new ideas and rewards it.

Ideal candidates will have strong Property Accounting experience across multiple properties, and an openness to change and process improvement.
