Field Operations Manager

Gil Haugan Construction is in need of an experienced field operations manager. Candidates for this position must have experience in construction management, equipment allocation, high level people management, and the ability to keenly understand construction drawings and safety regulation.

This position has direct responsibility for the management of field superintendents to ensure the timely completion of construction projects across the region as well as the coordination and scheduling and allocation of project labor and equipment. Work with Project Managers closely to understand the needs of each project and with the overall schedule of a project to ensure that unforeseen obstacles do not cause budget overruns.

Requirements:

• Effective communication skills both in person and via electronic means
• Proactive problem solving
• Detail oriented
• Ability to read and interpret specifications
• Ability to multitask and maintain many priorities
• Able to keep projects on schedule and budget
• Minimum of 10 years commercial construction experience with at least 5 years of construction management or equivalent
