Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
  • Uses Creo 3D CAD as primary design tool.
  • Perform assignments as directed by the department supervisor.
  • Primary responsibility is to expedite construction and fabrication drawings along with bills of material and other documentation for the installation of aeration and biological equipment in new or existing facilities.
  • Ensures that drawings incorporate all design features and maintain the product standards.
  • Contributes design modifications to improve the quality and function of the product.
  • Checks designs of new parts and assemblies for dimensional accuracy and compliance with current standards.
  • Executes projects to maintain schedule demands and deliverables.
  • Check component and assembly drawings of other department personnel as needed.
  • Work closely with Engineering and other departments to analyze projects for manufacturability.
  • Create 3D models, assemblies, drawings and Bills of materials for new products.
  • Maintain standards libraries and documentation for 3D cad processes
Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
  • Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar technical degree.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience with 3D CAD Computer experience with MS Word and Excel.
  • Creo 3.0 or later along with a working knowledge of AutoCAD 2014 or later.
  • Demonstrates advanced level of proficiency 3D Creo.
