Sr. Design Engineer

Looking for an individual that is an expert with mechanical engineering knowledge and best practices for the development and improvement of products that meet or exceed expectations for function, performance, and durability.
Responsibilities:

• Developing innovative customer-focused design solutions
• Delivering those mechanical design solutions, using engineering principles, in a variety of material technologies including wood, glass, metals, plastics, and composites
• Design for Manufacturing
• Design for Installation
• Technical Presentations
• Engineering Change Orders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of related mechanical design experience
• Experienced with 2D & 3D CAD modelling
• Demonstrated use of FEA
• Demonstrated use of dimensional tolerance analysis
• Demonstrated ability to design experimentation, analyze results and draw conclusions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
