Reporting to the Dean of the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity (SPSSOD), the Program Director will oversee the Certificate in Catholic School Leadership program. This position will take the lead in design, implementation, and marketing of the program. The Program Director will also develop and implement a student recruitment plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communications

Marketing: In collaboration with the SPSSOD Communications staff, develop and administer a marketing and communications plan, including a social media plan.
Administer and update the ICSL pages on the semsps.org website, including the development of videos, updated photos, current events, testimonials, and general content
Foster relationships and generally represent the ICSL locally within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis staff and Catholic schools, (principals and teachers), UST Catholic Studies, and other stakeholders such as CSCOE
Recruiting: Prepare and implement a recruiting plan in collaboration with the SPSSOD Recruitment and Student Services Coordinator
With the assistance of the Recruitment and Student Services Coordinator, maintain relations and respond to inquiries of interested students and oversee the student admissions process, elevating communications as needed
Student/Cohort: Other than academic related communications, which will be done directly by the course instructor, manage the communications with and between cohort members during the duration of their academic work.
Summer Residency

In collaboration with the Chaplain, SPSSOD academic Dean and other Seminary faculty and staff, design and administer the co-curricular formation events during summer residency, including the opening retreat, Saturday morning reflections, closing event, daily Mass, and morning and evening prayer.
Identify topics and speakers for the Friday night speaker series and administer the speaker series
Design and administer community building events for students during summer residency
Serve as the primary point person for student relations
Logistics: Recruit, retain, and train the UST students who will assist with summer residency.
With the assistance of the administrative assistant and the UST student help, oversee the logistics of summer residency, including meals, student check-in and move-out. Prepare a student resource manual.
Ensure faculty classroom and course work needs are met.

All relevant committees within the SPSSOD organizations
Execute Certificate

The Program Director is responsible for executing the Certificate within the professional parameters of The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity. Tasks include:
Program design, curriculum development, and syllabi review
Faculty and guest speaker communications and coordination
Design and implementation of faculty, mentor, and student orientation sessions
Design and implementation of program assessments plans
Evaluate cohorts to assess desired outcomes, and determine recommendations for program improvements
Design and implementation of student course and program evaluations
Facilitate a Pathway for MAPL degree completion
Design and implementation of the Applied Catholic School Leadership course, (specifically, may request input to mentorship design and mentor selection)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Five years of program administration experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted.

Preferred Qualifications

A graduate degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
Three years of experience as a principal or teacher in a Catholic school, or as a professional in a Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools
Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the mission of SPSSOD
A deep commitment to the importance and mission of Catholic schools
