Senior Outreach Diversity Specialist

The Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging (MNRAAA) has a Senior LinkAge Line® Senior Outreach Diversity Specialist position available. This is a fulltime one-year grant funded position. Job duties include the development of an outreach and awareness plan, strategies and resource material targeting diverse populations of older adults and their caregivers. Candidates must have education and experience working with diverse population and the ability to develop partnerships with organizations and individuals. Candidates must be comfortable with public speaking, mentoring staff and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

A Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, nursing, or related human service field is required. Candidates must have one year of professional or internship experience in the social services field, including long-term care, health care, social services or lead agency setting. Degree in social work or nursing requires licensure or demonstrated progress/intent on securing licensure.
