The University of Jamestown Office of Admissions is seeking a full-time Admissions Counselor.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and exhibit excellent communication skills. Individuals with a competitive nature are well-suited to the work environment. Between 2-4 weeks of out-of-town travel per semester should be anticipated. Some nights and weekends will also be required.
Primary duties of an Admissions Counselor are to oversee the recruitment of students from a specific territory and to guide students through the college admissions process to matriculation. This includes, but is not limited to: calling prospective students and families, composing email communication campaigns, visiting with students in person and virtually, guiding families through the financial aid process, and being available after hours for student questions.
