Engineering Technician I

The City of Jamestown, ND is accepting applications for the position of Engineering Technician I. This position performs routine inspection, surveying and drafting work in the field or office, as well as general daily computer operations. It is preferred that candidates have graduated from a Civil Engineering Technical Program or related two year degree. Candidates must have considerable knowledge of basic engineering principles, practices and methods. Candidates must have working knowledge of drafting and/or surveying, including use of instruments and equipment. Candidates must have working knowledge of construction materials, principles and practices of plans and specifications and general knowledge of computer operations and its applications. Candidates must have, or be able to obtain a valid North Dakota driver's license.

The starting salary for this position is $3,655 per month. (Salary range: $3,655-5,257).
