YOUR ROLE

  • Leads and cordinates execution of local sales plans in respective channel / country regions
  • Executes the sales plans in order to drive availability (avoid out of stock) and strong shelf shares
  • Defines and realizes channel sales strategy; drives sales activities; detects market opportunites and develops business
  • Plans and allocates the field sales FTEs in the best way to achieve efficiency
  • Manages major accounts as well as manages and motivates (channel) sales teams; develops the field team constantly by common storechecks, trainings and guidlines
  • Works in alignment with other channles and negotiates annual contracts; ensures contract fullfilments
  • Reviews business in line with CSDA and HBCP guidelines and drives commercial policy with clear action plans
  • Executes the product display performance in the stores that is agreed by the KAM team
  • Seeks and executes additional instore display and visibility opportunities as well as develops and executes plans to support launches and relaunches excellently


YOUR SKILLS

  • Degree in business or a relevant discipline, an M.B.A. is a plus
  • World Class Customer Development/Sales Capabilities
  • An in-depth understanding of the key components of the sales, e-commerce, digital and customer marketing functions, with a background of achievement in strategic and business planning, sales and profit growth, and financial management
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver outstanding results from a quality of customer service, revenue, and profitability perspective
  • Well-established relationships with senior level brick-and-mortar and e-commerce customers nationwide; likely in a CPG/FMCG context
  • Experience with direct- and broker-forces is required
  • An ability to work and influence effectively across functions, to give and take direction, to establish priorities, and to create excitement and focus with those not in his/her direct line of responsibility
  • Outstanding leadership and partnering capabilities within a matrixed organization as well as well-developed business and financial management skills
  • Strong teamwork skills to ensure optimal organizational effectiveness and communications within the organization, as well as the right combination of assertiveness and persuasiveness
