Description
  • Provide strategic account management for clients participating in our clinical cost reduction programs
    • Ensure deliverable timelines are adhered to and results are achieved
    • Work with teams to educate and explain clinical process and options
    • Initiate process improvements on an ongoing basis to generate additional cost reduction opportunities
    • Deliver stewardship reports to customers
    • Coordinate other Lockton provided services
  • Coordinate workflow with Clinical and Cost Reduction Team Associates
  • Meet with clinical team individuals or in conjunction with Team or Company Leadership to review a) deliverables, b) process improvements, c) cost reduction opportunities and follow ups
  • Coordinate reporting status of claims savings solutions with Lockton consulting teams, TPAs, and stop loss carriers including regular tracking to measure savings and program performance
  • Assist in invoicing, billing and reconciliation related to clinical coverage and 3rd party vendor interaction as well as the review of all applicable agreements and/or documents
  • Participate in annual plan/business planning process as needed
  • Ability to supervise and interview potential candidates for team employment
  • Participate in extending clinical consulting services to other entities
  • Identify and ensure prompt payment of all commission and fee revenue for clinical work
  • Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Six years insurance/clinical/administrative/risk management industry experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working with or for a Health and Welfare Consulting practice a plus
  • Working knowledge of or experience in quality/management/performance improvement a plus, as would be familiarity with accreditation standards and CMS regulations.
  • Understanding of clinical terminology
  • Proven project management experience
  • Excellent computer skills required with strong knowledge of software packages
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in spreadsheets
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
