Project Accountant

We are working on a Project Accountant position with a company that is growing! They have a wonderful mission and are seeking someone to join their team. This team consists of approximately 9 people and reports to a really great manager. They offer upward mobility potential and competitive benefits.

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the trial balance & general ledger.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financial package and productivity reporting for different departments.
• Understand the elements of cash versus accrual-basis accounting.
• Partner with our different teams to set up projects, compile budgets and verify contract terms.
• Prepare project billings and back-up support.
• Collect monthly or consultant billings and general conditions invoices.
• Ensure billings and expenses are recorded timely and accurately.
• Review and record Concur expense reports.
• Lead annual audit preparation and audit process.
• Other special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Accounting

2+ years of experience

Public accounting is preferred but not required

Nuts and bolts accounting experience
