Electrical Drafter/Designer

An Electrical Drafter/Designer to assist in the design of electrical control system panels and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.

Required:

2+ years' experience working with AutoCAD Electrical
Working knowledge of NEC Code as it pertains to electrical panels
The ability to work closely with fellow employees and manufacturing personnel to insure a smooth workflow is necessary
Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, and other documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Design control and automation system panels and other associated mechanical designs in AutoCAD Electrical with input from the engineering team.
Develop and maintain complete documentation packages for each project we execute. Documentation includes bills of material, system layout, detailed drawings, termination drawings, etc.
Maintain revisions library of the projects assigned - tracking Proposal / Red-Line / Construction and As Built phases.
Verify final drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and verify that calculations, measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers and current standards.

Location: Sussex, WI
Pay Range: $25-$30/hr
