Robert Half Finance has an opening for an ambitious Controller for a reputable company in the Manufacturing industry. As the Controller, you will monitor and analyze monthly operating results against the budget, lead monthly financial reviews, oversee daily operations of purchasing and inventory as well as prepare financial forecasts. What you get to do every single day


- Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly

- Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible

- Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

- Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed

- Review and revise deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations

- Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners

- Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals




Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA or CMA preferred

- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

- Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions

- Expertise in budget forecasting

- Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting

- Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
