YOUR ROLE

  • Works closely with external contractors and ensures the quality of delivered services and products Sets up or adjusts complex equipment according to manufacturing specifications Identifies and implements opportunities of process optimization
  • Lead Person to evaluate assigned tasks, understand the requested task, determine the ultimate goal and set the task up for a successful outcome in allotted time constraints.
  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in Production and related services, maximizing production time and minimizing down time.
  • Train and instruct maintenance technicians in proper electrical, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
  • Make sound decisions in the absence of the maintenance supervisor and/or manager and perform root cause analysis to increase serviceability and reliability of equipment.
  • Minimize labor, material and part expenses while allowing a successful outcome and place and order all parts and supplies as needed to support production.


YOUR SKILLS

  • Good oral and written communication skills and good basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical prints.
  • Must be able to write work instructions, training documents and procedures.
  • Must have greater than 5 years' experience as a maintenance electrician.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
