Sr Project Engineer

Responsible for the completion of long-term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems.
Requires a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
