Accounting Manager

Your responsibilities

- Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

- Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

- Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

- Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

- Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met

Education/experience: Bachelors in Accounting, MBA, CPA strongly preferred and 4+ years of relevant experience

Software expertise/experience:

GL/ERP: Syspro ERP - pretty user friendly - AP Invoices paid out of Concur (use Concur quite a bit)

Excel - do queries in the ERP, Familiar with Data tables. Macros are in place.

Reporting/Consolidations/BI - Adaptive Planning for FP& A - budgeting, FA, PL & balance sheet reporting. Hyperion for Core reporting

- Reliable technology and analytical abilities

- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- Month-end Financial experience

- Adeptness in SYSPRO

- General familiarity with adaptive planning

- Proficiency in Month-end Journal Entries

- Annual Financial Reporting experience highly preferred

- Practical knowledge of account analysis

- Earlier work involving budget forecasting

- Background working with financial analysis

- Experience with Perform Month-end

- Comprehensive knowledge of Month-end Close Activities

- Previous experience working with Hyperion Financial Management
